The purchase of a house is probably the largest single investment most of us will make in our lifetime, to have complete peace of mind it would be prudent to gain the best possible advice available.

Whilst a valuation report, whether for mortgage purposes or otherwise, might be perfectly adequate for a property which is only a few years old, a detailed survey such as Homebuyer Survey & Valuation is far more appropriate for the older property. This survey is aimed at identifying defects which require repair in order to prevent further deterioration and possible associated damage.

The survey will draw attention to any defects which can effect the value and can form a basis for further negotiation on the purchase price.

Often the cost of the survey is a small fraction for the saving made by renegotiation.
